The R108 Rhino Excluders® Raccoon One Way Door is the most innovative raccoon excluder device available. Trusted by professional wildlife and pest control companies, this product is perfect for safely eliminating multiple raccoons from attics, soffits, fireplaces and under decks.

The R108 model is designed to facilitate raccoon exits while preventing their re-entry. Installation is simplified with six holes for secure mounting. Installation tips

Install so that the plexi glass opens outwards. If the raccoon hole is larger than the dimensions of the one-way door, use another material such as plywood or steel mesh (1″x1″) to cover the area and install the one-way door on the material, just above the hole. Once installed, give it a few days for the raccoons to leave. After this period, do an inspection around the property (soffits, vents, pipes, roof line, etc.) to make sure there are no new holes. If the noises have stopped and there is no more activity, you can remove the one-way door and fix the hole. Make sure you secure it well, because the raccoons will come back to try and get in.

During baby season, if you suspect there are babies, do not install this gate. Babies will not come out of the den until they are fully mobile. Physically remove the babies and reunite them with their mother outside or wait until the babies are mobile (following the mother out of the den) before installing the one-way door. If you installed the door and still hear baby noises, remove the door, wait a few weeks, and reinstall the door. This will give babies time to grow and become mobile.
