Green Way® liquid bait Ant & Cockroach Killer Refill incorporates boron (as disodium octaborate tetrahydrate) into a special food bait that attracts ants, carpenter ants and cockroaches. Ants and carpenter ants pick up the bait and then bring it back to the nest to feed the colony. Cockroaches do not share bait; they die after having fed on them directly. The action of boron is slow, so enough bait should be applied to ensure continuous distribution for at least 14 days. Ants and carpenter ants return to the nest after consuming the bait, then they feed the litters and the queen, thereby destroying the colony. Repeat bait placement until removal is acceptable. Do not use sprays, foggers or any chemicals or cleaners near bait containers or placements. This could contaminate the bait, and the insects will therefore stop feeding on it. For the control of ants, carpenter ants and cockroaches, use indoors or outdoors near homes, apartments, condominiums, schools, hospitals, restaurants, grocery stores, food processing plants, boats, cruise liners , commercial or permanent residence buildings, nursing homes, hotels and warehouses.
